  1. True story - I was about 12, had a bird. I have a cake and accidentally left the burner on the Teflon pan on the burner. The smoke from the dying birds. I think it strengthens the practice of juvenile birds electrical signal with deadly gases. So yes, I think that Teflon pans can be toxic anyway. I think that stainless steel pots would be good. Try Mr. Clean eraser to clean - they are amazing! PS - Have you checked the oven!
